Resources

  • In an Earthquake Brace + Bolt retrofit, the foundation is "bolted" to the frame of the house. and when there are walls called "cripple Walls" in the crawl space under the house, they are "braced" with plywood to help prevent the house from sliding off the foundation during an earthquake.  Your house must be a wood-framed, pre-1980 home with a raised foundation.  Application period is open until March 26 for our zip code.  The application website is www.earthquakebracebolt.com and is best accessed via a computer.
  • Flume is a smart home water monitor that allows users to view their water use down to the minute, be alerted of leaks, set budgets, view water usage by appliance, and much more.  To be eligible to receive a flume, you must have a WiFi connection, your WiFi password, either  iOS (Apple) or Android device, and a compatible water meter.   Visit bit.ly/SBMWDFlume and sign up.  If the meter is not available at this time, you will be notified when another shipment becomes available.
